I’m pleased to confirm that the works to the new Weighing Room are progressing accordingly to plan and the facility will be ready for use from the first fixture of this season, despite the weather.

Many of you will no doubt be aware of the recent formation of a new bookmaker association, the United Council of Racecourse Bookmakers (UCORB). However, the BRBA Board wishes to inform members that the BRBA intends to continue to operate as a separate entity.

The Social Responsibility Codes of Practice require licensed operators to have in place policies designed to prevent underage gambling, and details the measures which bookmakers are bound to take. The Ordinary Code calls for a Think 21 Policy to be in place.
All Bookmakers must make sure that the Card payment machine they are using blocks accepting Credit Card payments. As it is their responsibility not to accept payment for a bet placed with them from a Credit Card.

We are delighted that National Hunt racing will return to Royal Windsor racecourse during the 2024/2025 season. The first NH fixture will be run on December 15th, with a further two early the following New Year.
We ask that bookmakers use their trading name on the booking form when purchasing their Daily Betting Badges online. This will ensure that the pitching up process is as efficient as possible and also assist with the refund process where applicable.
