For those bookmakers using Starlink devices, please ensure that these are set to non-broadcast mode.
To make your Starlink network non-broadcast (i.e., a hidden network), open the Starlink app, go to your router's settings, select your network, and enable the Hidden Networks option. Devices will no longer see the network in their list of available networks, but you must manually enter the network name and password to connect.
This is to avoid Wi-Fi disruption which we believe may be linked to the increasing number of broadcasting devices on busy days in this area.
York Racecourse will be actively monitoring broadcasting devices on Friday and Saturday.
