Leicester Racecourse stage an evening fixture (first race approx 6pm) on June 15th.
Gates open at 12pm. Leicester Racecourse have 4 music acts on this day,
12.30 Rak-Su,
1:45 Blue,
3:15 Chris Moyles,
9:15 Ronan Keating.
Leicester are expecting a crowd of around 9,500 and they are expecting a high percentage of them to arrive for gates opening to enjoy the music. Race-tec are arriving early also so that the racegoers can enjoy the away racing on the big screens around the racecourse.
Due to the unique circumstances of this race-day, PITCHING UP WILL COMMENCE AT 11:45am.
Bookmakers must arrive at this time with their equipment (you can’t take your pick and then bring in your equipment mid afternoon).
ANY BOOKMAKERS THAT ARE LATE FOR PITCHING UP WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAND, so please give yourself enough time.
Vehicles dropping off equipment in the betting ring must be out of the racecourse by 11:30am.
Bookmakers will be able to park in the Kube carpark and the golf club overflow carpark.
The betting badge will be £300 (6x£45+£30) for non member and 5X£45+£30 for members.
New betting areas will be available,
2 at the parade ring.
2 at the bottom of the steps leading to tatts.
2 near the centre course marquee.
6 in the picnic carpark.
Replenishment will take place as in previous years.
Bookmakers can bet on the afternoon racing at the away meetings.
This is an unusual race meeting and I’m sure you will understand the reasoning regarding the decisions that have been made by the racecourse your association representatives.
