Number of Positions & Locations
As we move into the Jumps season, we will move the first Tatts pitch to the first 'horseshoe' as in previous years.
We will also move to a new formation for the whole jumps season where we will only open the front two lines leaving the 3rd line free and clear. We will leave the bins in place in row three.
Please do not spread out on the second row, please respect the extra space not using the 3rd row allows us and does allow more space for all customers
This means that each 'horseshoe' will cater for a maximum of 5 bookmakers ensuring that there is space for 60 tatts bookmakers on all days. The max number of tatts bookmakers last year was 49 on the Fireworks raceday.
On occasions and depending on the number of attending bookmakers, we will position benches within the betting ring designed to try and draw customers from the bars.
To try and entice customers to come for the racing and fireworks rather than just the fireworks all funfair rides are free up to the last race.
Current Attendance forecast – slightly down on last year at 16,000

Starlink Devices
As previously advised if you are using a starlink device you must enable the 'Bypass Mode'. On Saturday, a number of bookmakers were broadcasting WIFI and did create issues for the Ascot Wifi. At Ascot, starlinks can be used but must not broadcast Wifi, you must disable the WIFI and ideally connect via ethernet. This is an instruction for all race meetings at Ascot (not just Royal Ascot). If there are any future digressions, we will automatically block usage and then potentially look to ban the use of all Starlink connections. Please do not be the person that creates a problem on future racedays.
If you have any questions or enquiries please don’t hesitate to contact me direct.
