Betfair Ascot Chase Raceday

  • Welcome back to Ascot for the Betfair Ascot Chase Raceday 

  • The feature race of the day is the Betfair Ascot Chase over 2 miles 5 furlongs currently scheduled at 3.35pm and this could be a cracker if Jonbon is declared

  • Current forecast is for a crowd ‘in excess of 11,000 though hopeful this will increase as (if) the weather improves  

  • We have agreed a package with the Invades team and are hoping for more than 5,000 students to attend with their focus on and around the open part of the Concourse

  • Gates open at 10.45 with 7 scheduled races

  • 1st Race 1.15pm / Last Race 4.5pm

Fees 

The Daily Betting Badge fees are as follows

  • Saturday (5x £24)- £120

  • RDT Racecourse Betting Compliance Fee - £30 – fee applies for each pitch  

  • Staff (if required) – £24 per person

  • Marketing Fee – £100 - only payable if this is your first visit of the jumps season (the season runs from Nov 25-March 26)

PITCHING IN TIME 

  • Pitching in time will be 2 hours before the first race

Purchasing your Badges / Tickets

As is standard now, payment of the ‘Daily Betting Badge’, any Bookmakers Staff badges, the Marketing Fee and the RDT Racecourse Betting Compliance Fee’ will be required in advance (the purchasing system allows for bookmakers to make their purchase up to midnight on the day before the raceday).

  • A wristband for all bookmakers and staff members will be required to access the racecourse and will be able to be collected on the day of racing – wristbands must be worn to access the racecourse.

  • All bookmakers and staff MUST access the racecourse via the Pavilion entrance 

  • To exit the racecourse please exit via the service tunnel

Car Parking

  • Car park 6 is available and is free of charge

  • Access can be arranged if you wish to drop equipment off early 

  • All cars will need to be off course by 10.00am

  • Please contact me by email if this is required. Please advise the following information by 3.00pm on Thursday 12th February advising 

    • Your name

    • Trading name

    • Make and model of car

    • Registration number if access is required 

  • If you do drop equipment off, all bookmakers and staff have to leave the racecourse and collect badges and wristbands from Badge Box.  Please ensure that all staff leave the racecourse after dropping off their equipment and re-enter through the staff tunnel.

Arrival Process

Please head to the bookmakers betting badge box and collect all badges and wristbands. Wristbands must be worn to gain entrance to the racecourse.

Summary

To enable payments to be processed your Ascot account and bank cards must be registered to the same address.  Please ensure this is the case as the banks are now rejecting payments based on different addresses being used.  This is a bank requirement and we cannot process the payment if this is the case.
