• Welcome back to Ascot for the first flat meetings of the season
  • On Friday 1st May it is the Royal Ascot Trials Day (previously on a Wednesday) which features seven races with a scheduled first race time of 2.00pm
  • Then on Friday 8th & Saturday 9th we have the Peroni Nastro Azzurro weekend which features the Victoria Cup, our Class 2 Heritage Handicap.
  • Both days feature 7 races and 1st race times are as below
    • Friday 1st Race - 1.50pm
    • Saturday 1st Race – 1.10pm
  • On all three racedays the gates open at 11.00
  • Bookmaker Pitching in time will be 2 – hours before the first race

Fees 

The Daily Betting Badge fees are as follows

  • Friday 1st May - (5 x £19) - £95
  • Friday 8th May - £95
  • Saturday 9th May (5x £24)- £120
  • RDT Racecourse Betting Compliance Fee - £30 – per day (fee applies for each pitch)
  • Staff (if required) – Fri – 1st & Fri 8th- £19 / Sat £24 per person
  • Marketing Fee – £100 - this is now payable on your first visit of the 2026 flat season – (all bookmakers that attend on the 1st May will need to pay the £100 Marketing Fee)

PITCHING IN TIME 

  • Pitching in time will be 2 hours before the first race

As is standard now, payment of the ‘Daily Betting Badge’, any Bookmakers Staff badges, the Marketing Fee and the RDT Racecourse Betting Compliance Fee’ will be required in advance (the purchasing system allows for bookmakers to make their purchase up to midnight on the day before the raceday).

  • A wristband for all bookmakers and staff members will be required to access the racecourse and will be able to be collected on the day of racing – wristbands must be worn to access the racecourse.
  • All bookmakers and staff MUST access the racecourse via the Pavilion entrance
  • To exit the racecourse please exit via the service tunnel

Car Parking

  • Car park 6 is available and is free of charge
  • Access can be arranged if you wish to drop equipment off early
  • All cars will need to be off course by 10.00am
  • Please contact me by email if this is required. Please advise the following information by 3.00pm on Thursday 30th April for RA Trials Day and by 3.00pm on Thurs 7th May for the Peroni Racing weekend advising
    • Your name
    • Trading name
    • Make and model of car
    • Registration number if access is required
  • If you do drop equipment off, all bookmakers and staff have to leave the racecourse and collect badges and wristbands from Badge Box.  Please ensure that all staff leave the racecourse after dropping off their equipment and re-enter through the staff tunnel.

Arrival Process

Please head to the bookmakers betting badge box and collect all badges and wristbands. Wristbands must be worn to gain entrance to the racecourse.

Summary

To enable payments to be processed your Ascot account and bank cards must be registered to the same address.  Please ensure this is the case as the banks are now rejecting payments based on different addresses being used.  This is a bank requirement and we cannot process the payment if this is the case.
